Sustainability:

Cecilia believes that we can help contribute to a greener future and promote sustainability in the Accounting Firm and in our every day lives. To act against climate change.

Based of recent publication of International Association of Independent Accounting Firms, “Climate change is accelerating and soon, nearly every corner of the planet will be affected by the effects of global warming. Not only are we on a path to irreversible environmental damage, but climate change has the potential to threaten economies due to freak weather and disease outbreaks.”

The following are a few steps that this firm can contribute towards a more sustainable future for everyone:

  • Reduce paper waste: Adopting a cloud based accounting software, switching to electronic invoicing and paperless bank/credit card statements.
  • Become more energy efficient: Turn off electronics when not in use, install smart thermostat.
  • Flexible working: Opting to work from home or bike to work scheme if possible.
